Get up and grow with Tyl

We’ve been speaking to Ben Russell, Founder and CEO of Integrity Energy Solutions (IES). He’s been telling us about his business and how NatWest and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) have been essential in helping his company grow from start-up to stand-out in just two years. Watch the video below, listen to the audio interview on Acast or read on to find out more.

NatWest all the way

When IES needed card payments, Ben did what many people do and he turned to his search engine. After scouring the internet, looking at all the card payment providers out there, he settled on Tyl by NatWest.

Ben was already a happy business customer of NatWest, and was also a keen champion of the NatWest Accelerator Programme. The programme supports new businesses like IES, delivering one-to-one coaching to help companies start, scale and thrive. You can read more about the NatWest Accelerator over on NatWest.com.

Needing flexible card payments on-the-go

But it wasn’t just familiarity that turned Ben on to Tyl. Being in the construction sector, IES is a constant mix of ‘at the office’ and ‘on site’. Ben told us that when he was looking for a card payments provider, having something that was easily mobile was a key decision. He’s now settled on our ‘pocket’ powerhouse, the PAX A50, supported by NatWest Tap to Pay*. PAX gives him the reliability and functionality of a physical card reader, with the mobility of tech you can take almost anywhere in your back pocket.

*No monthly hire or PCI fees for Tap to Pay. Transaction fees and limits apply. Some contactless cards not accepted. Users may be charged for data usage by their network operator. Available on selected devices. Subject to Tyl eligibility criteria and terms and conditions.

A trusted brand

Reputation was another key driver for Ben. As a young company, is was essential that Integrity Energy Solutions quickly made a name for itself as a trustworthy organisation, known for quality work and great customer service. Ben purposefully turned to a similarly trustworthy brand to handle his card payments (that’d be us, in case you didn’t guess).

Thankfully, Tyl didn’t disappoint. Ben explained that the level of introductory information from Tyl was excellent, easing him through the various choices he could make about his Tyl package. The sign-up process was also simple and straightforward, getting him onboard with the minimum fuss.

FSBrilliant

Another positive for Ben was NatWest’s partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). He told us, “It’s great to see two reputable organisations coming together”.

For IES, the FSB has been a great support, giving health and safety guidance, contract templates, help with employee management and much more. Ben laughs and says, “I wished I signed up sooner”.

Get up and grow with Tyl

We wrap up our chat with Ben talking about the future for Integrity Energy Solutions. They’re moving more and more into renewables and taking on bigger and bigger clients, such as local businesses. “Tyl will be great for us” Ben says, “it streamlines our processes, allowing us to kick on and grow”.
