To see the Tap to Pay on iPhone connection, you must follow the Apple Business Register link from your welcome email. You receive this email after you accept the Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms and Conditions in the payments app on your device.

I'm having other issues with my Tap to Pay on iPhone connection in Apple Business Register. What do I do?

You can submit a help request in Apple Business Register. Sign into your Apple Business Register account and go to the Tap to Pay on iPhone connection. Select Help from the navigation bar to submit a help request to the Apple Business Register support team.

I accepted the Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms and Conditions with an Apple ID I don't want to use for my business. How do I change the Apple ID?

You can remove the existing Apple ID associated with your business, and then accept the Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms and Conditions again with your preferred Apple ID.

First, follow the link in your Tap to Pay on iPhone welcome email to sign in to Apple Business Register. Confirm your business information to see your Tap to Pay on iPhone connection and your Merchant ID.

From the list of Merchant IDs, select Remove and confirm to unlink the Apple ID from your business account.

The next time you open your payments app, you will be prompted again to accept the Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms and Conditions. Accept the terms and conditions with your preferred Apple ID.

Why are location and phone permissions required with NatWest Tap to Pay?

Location and Phone are needed to securely process the payments (technically speaking, they're required to pass the PCI and payment flow attestations).

Do I need to enable permission for location access on my phone for NatWest Tap to Pay to work?

Yes, for security reasons you will need to enable location access on your smartphone for NatWest Tap to Pay to function.

1. Find the NatWest Tap to Pay app icon on your smartphone.

2. Press and hold the icon until the 'App info' option appears. Tap it.

3. In 'Permissions' (or similar), allow 'Location permission' access (allow only while using the app) and enable 'Use precise location'.

I have a firewall at my place of business. How do I enable Tap to Pay on iPhone on an enterprise or restricted network?

Can I change my business name in the Tap to Pay on iPhone with NatWest Tap to Pay interface?

The business name that appears in the interface is based upon the information you (the business owner) shared with us when you set up your Tyl account. If the display name is incorrect, please get in touch.

Typically this can take up to 48 business hours, however in some cases where we may need more information about you and your business, this time frame must be extended until your business is fully onboarded onto our systems.
