Setting up your Clover device

Setting up your shiny new Clover Flex card machine, from brand new in box to taking card payments in 6 easy steps.

Getting started with Clover is easy with our handy in-box get started guide. We’ve uploaded a digital copy here.

Otherwise see our summary steps below and you’ll be on your way in no time at all.

  1. Unbox and unwrap
    Use the Quick Start guide (which you’ll find in the box along with your Clover device) to set up your card machine.
  2. Activate your Clover Flex
    Activate your card machine using the setup codes we've emailed you. If you’ve missed them, check your junk folder.
  3. Get connected
    Connect up the WIFI, and setup your SIM card settings. For Clover card machines this is managed through the Wireless Manager app.
  4. Get to know your card machine
    It's really easy to use your Clover Flex, have a look at the video below to whizz through its best bits
  5. Log in to the Tyl portal and explore
    This is where you'll see your trading data come to life. And it's a good idea to bookmark the portal, too.
