Why is the Tyl Accounting Integration no longer available?
We wanted to give Tyl customers some excellent 'added value' services, but unfortunately the take-up was quite low. With the high cost of maintenance and support for these features, we had to take the difficult decision to stop offering these services.
We're working on new features for Tyl, and will reveal what we have planned as soon as we can. Look out for more news and future updates on our website.
I accidentally disconnected my Tyl accounting integration and now I am unable to reconnect. What can I do?
Unfortunately, if you disconnect your accountancy integration prior to 22nd April 2025, you won't be able to reconnect. You can still download your data manually from the Tyl merchant portal.
Can I still access the accounting data I was getting from Tyl?
Yes, you can still access the same Tyl data through the Tyl portal and manually import it into your accounting software.
- Log into the Tyl Portal, and click "sales".
- Above the displayed dates, you will find an option for "download".
- Click "download", select the preferred format and save to your device.
- Visit your accounting software provider and follow their instructions for uploading transactions manually.
Will removal of Tyl's accounting integration affect my previous entries to my accountancy platform?
No, previous entries won't be affected.
Do I need to do anything or will it automatically be removed for me?
You don't need to do anything. The service will be closed by our technical teams, and your data will no longer be passed to your accounting software provider
