We've taken the difficult decision to retire the Tyl Rewards App on the 22nd April 2025. You can continue to accumulate reward points & accessing offers until this date, but any points not redeemed by then will be lost.
Why is Tyl Rewards ending?
We wanted to give Tyl businesses a great way to delight their customers and grow their business. Unfortunately the take-up was quite low, and with the high cost of maintenance and support for these features, we had to take the difficult decision to stop offering these services.
When will the Tyl Rewards app cease to exist?
The Tyl Rewards app will be shut down on the 22nd April 2025.
What will happen to my points or unclaimed rewards if not redeemed by the deadline?
Tyl Rewards app users have until the 22nd April 2025, to redeem your points/offers. You can continue accumulating points in active offers/rewards until the 22nd April 2025, but any points/offers not redeemed by 22nd April 2025 will be lost.
Can a merchant decide to end their offer / loyalty programme sooner?
Yes, Tyl merchants can choose to close their loyalty programme or offers before Tyl Rewards is closed down on 22nd April 2025. Tyl Rewards app users will have up to 60 days to redeem their points before the 22nd April 2025.
The deadline for redeeming points is 60 days from the closure of the offer/loyalty scheme or 22nd April 2025, whichever comes first.
